Founder & Trustee
Mikael Johansson
Proud husband and father to two beautiful girls, I’m a London-based Swedish real estate professional with a deep interest in for-profit investments and grant making that create positive social outcomes and uphold the principles of strong community, real education and equality of opportunity. I’m also a Trustee for LIMI London, a family foundation focused on projects in and around London and JAMMA International.
I’ve worked in real estate since 2006, starting my career at the Berkeley Group with a focus on high-end residential developments in London. In 2012 I moved to Quintain Estates where a varied role led me to co-manage one of Europe’s largest regeneration sites, Greenwich Peninsula, and start a London-focused development and investment fund. Always wanting to work for myself, I setup my own real estate company in 2015 which focuses on opportunities in London, Europe and strategic locations worldwide.
Photography has always been a passion and hobby of mine, directly influenced by my father and grandfather who were both excellent amateur photographers and keen hobbyists. As a young child I would always be borrowing my father’s camera and a roll of Kodak Gold, capturing anything and everything. The Photography Foundation was co-founded by myself and my good friend Dom, and is a project which encompasses all of the principles we believe in.
