About our Events programme

At The Photography Foundation we offer a range of events and activities which are open to the public and open to all*.

We understand how difficult it can be for emerging creatives to gain access to spaces, people or knowledge to support and grow their creative careers.  We hope that our events can provide a gateway for creatives and photographers to develop and also foster connections with others.

* Our Public Programmes are aimed at anyone aged 16+. If you are an adult who wishes to join with someone younger than 16 years old, please contact us in advance at info@thephotographyfoundation.org

Public Engagement

Our public engagement programme is a series of talks and community events aimed at creative learning, building connections, and fostering collaboration. From community zine-making to visual literacy in photography by women, our public engagement events focus on specific issues and align with our mission and values. We strive to create a safe space for our community to discuss challenges and opportunities in the creative sector and unite over shared interests.

Educational Workshops

Our educational workshops offer opportunities for photographers aiming to enhance their skills and refine their craft, whether through gaining photography knowledge, technical and professional skills, or connecting with other creatives.

Partnership & Collaborative Events

At The Photography Foundation we believe that change happens when we work together. We have worked in collaboration with organisations like The Photobook Cafe, NOW Gallery, Magnum Learn and Fuji Film on exhibitions, talks and workshops.
